Re: Default Browser - Across all apps?
Looks like I figured it out. Posted the details here:
http://gusperez.com/wp/2009/11/27/se...-on-winmo-6-5/ The key though was that I had to set the following key as well: HKCR\htmlfile\Shell\Open\Command\Default Value = “\Windows\OperaL.exe” “%1″ |

9.5 doesn't have that setting. Thanks for the tip, gusper. I thought it must have been hard-coded in some apps to use IE. |

Re: Default Browser - Across all apps?
It's strange a few folks have reported that there is such an option in Opera 9.5 but I've totally failed to find it. This worked for me though. Of course, if you somehow have the option, use it, I certainly would have.

Re: Default Browser - Across all apps?
I forget where I read this so I don't want to take credit, but on 9.5 it was in
opera:config (no http:// just opera:config) Scroll down to installation. Check the first box then save. Exit Opera. I did a soft reset using SKTools lite and was back to 9.5 as my default. I am now using 9.7 I think its much faster. Just wish my Internet Tab in TF pointed too the 9.7 bookmarks. |
