Should I return Imagio to get $100 NE2 in 2mo.

Hi all.
I bought the phone on the day it was released and realized later it didn't apply my NE2 (account said eligible on 12/31/009). So I called CS and tried to get partial credit in order not to go through hassle of returning and buying later, but they just won't do it. CS told me to return it since its within 30day and buy it later, but there is also $35 restocking fee.

So I need advice, should I return it and wait two month to get $65 dollars back or maybe there is another route?

thats odd, I didn't even have my new every 2 eligibility until jan of 2011 and they still gave me $100 off plus the rebate.. But i was exchanging the omnia which was giving me problems so that may have been why they honored it.. I say you call again and see if you can talk to someone else.. They usually are nice about these things to make sure they keep you as a customer.

I did not think that restocking fee is charged for returns, but rather for replacing one phone with another. Say Imagio for TP2? But I could be mistaken.

How desperate are you to have a new phone. If you think that it will make your work easier and let you considerate more on business keep it. If its just a toy and you don't really need it and the 100 dollars will make a big deal then return it. Or give someone else in your family the Imagio or new phone with the NE2. you can always do both.
