Re: TF3D Screen Rotation Solved - All Screens!

Is there a way to get this to rotate to the left and the right? Right now it only rotates to the left.

Following the instructions below, I found that I had no Keys listed under GSensor, nor the DisableRotation string under Manilla... Any ideas or thoughts? Create them?

1. HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila -> add a new String Value with the name "EnableLandscape" and the value "true" (both without "")

2. HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName -> add a new String Value with the name "TF3D" and the value "\Windows\manila.exe" (both without "")

3. HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList -> add a new String Value: Name: "TF3D Value: "Manila" (both without "")

4. Change HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila DisableRotation value to 0 from 1.

worked GREAT on the first try. For some odd reason, my TV icon has an exclamation mark next to it and it has greatly improved my battery life! Then again,I dont know if it's because I did this reg edit or the installation of that "tell me" app, after the soft reset I noticed the TV icon with an exclamation....which is fine by me because I dont even use mobiTV.

Excellent instructions, even for those of us that have never edited a registry before. It took a minute or so before it worked on my Imagio, but now all screens now rotate like they should have from the factory.

Very cool, thank you!!

I want to do this for my imagio but i'm a little unsure about how to enter this into the registry. I've done it on the pc but not sure about the instructions and were to start on the phone, any more detailed instructions(or cab) would be greatly appreciated

OK, I was having issues with the screen rotation, even after installing ChangeScreen, only certain screens would rotate (like windows-deep messaging, opera). But these screens aren't related to TF3D, so I did some searching and here's what I found

I did the Registry Edits - a Piece of Cake - thanks

Most of the built-in Screens now rotate.

The Browsers and other Apps I use still do not.

I thought the Reg Edits allowed everything to rotate?

I'm most interested in getting the Browser Screen to rotate?
