Re: Location of the Turn Screen Off exe/lnk?
I've installed pshutxp but I see no indication of it anywhere. I'll have to go read a thread to see what this program is supposed to do. But it did not add in that option in the dropdown for the Media button.

Re: Location of the Turn Screen Off exe/lnk?
It's like xdaShutdown. Adds the ability to sleep, soft reset, and shutdown the phone. However psshutxp never really did a true shutdown, it acted like the "lightsout" option on xdaShutdown. IMO xdaShutdown makes psshutxp obsolete.

If I try and reinstall it does say that it is already installed though. Not that I care I guess. I'll just uninstall it. I was just curious about it so i installed it. |

Re: Location of the Turn Screen Off exe/lnk?
Well once I created the modified lnk file with -sleep at the end of it, kept the lnk in the same folder as XDAshutdown, then restarted my phone, XDAshutdown (1) appeared in my start menu. XDAshutdown (1) is my lnk file. After it was in my start menu I could select it as a program to replace the media button. Works perfect now. When I press the media button the phone go to right to sleep.
