Angry Free / other alternative to "City ID - Enhanced Caller ID"

I really like the idea of CITY ID but can't justify spending $2 a month on it. Seems ridiculous, but thats just me...

Are there any other alternatives that function in more or less the same way?

That doesn't really replace the City ID program. I believe what the OP is looking for is software on the phone which will display the city on the incoming call screen, just like City ID does.

Wait... you have to pay for that? I've been seeing the location of calls now for a while and I was never asked to sign up for anything.

Should I be checking my bill?

I was actually just looking for how to remove the program from the phone. It's neat, but at the same time, not something I want to pay for. Getting it off and/or a free alternative would be very nice.

you get a free trial. go to start, scroll down until you find city ID. click on it. click on subscription status. it will tell you how long until your free trial expires. no telling on what happens then, presumably it just stops working. maybe we'll get lucky and we'll still be able to use the data we've downloaded and just not get new updates.
