Re: Sim unlocking for imagio
The thing is, the Verizon TP2 WILL work in the US once unlocked. So I'd assume the same goes with the Imagio, but I can't say for sure since nobody's confirmed it yet.

Re: Sim unlocking for imagio
VZW hasn't finalized it's open-device strategy. This is evident in their device lineup choices and their recent developments with Google. Some other US based companies already have a open-device initiative while Verizon doesn't.
For example, a Verizon TP2 will work on Sprint. But a Sprint TP2 will not work on VZW until the open-device initiative has been finalized. And since the device is CDMA you will not be able to get the device to use GSM until you are out of the country. |

Re: Sim unlocking for imagio
I convinced my Verizon Biz rep to give me the subsidy unlock code since I have over 80 active lines with Verizon and yes just like the VZW Tpro2 the Imagio works just fine with both AT&T & Tmobile so until the Tpro2 I have from Sprint is SPL'd I now at least have a hybrid CDMA/GSM device I just want my keyboard but this works for now its a decent handset unfortunately for me at least the Dutty Roms and the Energy Roms had this level of 6.5 integration and beyond 4 months ago so it leads me to ask what the Hell are these companies doing with the time and revenue they bring in
