Re: "Soft Keyboard"

Clearly stated in big letters in his first post regarding the program:

It doesn't work on ROMs that doesn't have Rhodium or Leo Packages, if you install it on this kind of ROMs, it may cause a not bootable system after the soft reset.

I'm gonna assume you didn't have Rhodium or Leo stuff on your phone. Now question is, is your phone "bricked" (meaning you can't do anything with it including a hard reset) or it just messed your phone up and you have to hard reset it?

i don't think they bricked them, just hard reset. to be fair our keyboard is pretty much the same as rhodium so it was worth a try. we do have the shipped rom to flash to if something gets really screwed up.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they just need a hard reset too but wanted to make sure they clarified because bricking a phone is way different than just screwing the system up and needing a hard reset. It's mostly for clarification in case others find themselves in this mess heheh.

You're right about the shipped ROM though in case things go too bad for someone. If anyone new to the forum is looking for that it's located here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=89451

You are correct. Mine needed a hard reset, not completely destroyed. Thnks for the clarification.
