Bringing my Imagio back to life

I hadn't used this phone in a couple of years. Now I want to use it (without the phone functionality) as a PDA, music player etc. for my kid. I charged it overnight, but it won't turn on - any suggestions how I can reset it? It used to work perfectly so I doubt there's anything hardware-wrong with it; how do I wake it up after that long of inactivity?
