Bringing my Imagio back to life
 

I hadn't used this phone in a couple of years. Now I want to use it (without the phone functionality) as a PDA, music player etc. for my kid. I charged it overnight, but it won't turn on - any suggestions how I can reset it? It used to work perfectly so I doubt there's anything hardware-wrong with it; how do I wake it up after that long of inactivity?

Sounds like the battery is completely dead. Maybe a long recharge?

yep, I've left it charging for overnight and the light is still red. What do I press to boot it after another day or so, to check?

Maybe the battery is just dead. Lithium batteries can do that when they lose their charge for a long time.
