Imagio MMS issues

I just purchased an older phone, the HTC Imagio, Verizon, unlocked and on the Page Plus network. Everything is working ok (I can't register on myphone, get to the app store. etc) BUT the main issue is I cannot send or receive MMS messages.

Phone, internet, sms all work fine. Problem is I am a complete dunderhead and I have no idea where to begin to fix this issue.

Please help in simple terms.

I don't have an imagio, but it must be similar. Give these settings a try:

Re: Imagio MMS issues

I simply reactivated through Page Plus, using *22890. Previously I used a different activation number which apparently only set talk & sms.
I checked registry settings and all is a go.

Wish I had found this link http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-imagio...page-plus.html two weeks ago.

Re: Imagio MMS issues

okay so I'm new to the windows phone thing too. I did the *22890 and my phone restarted and all but i am getting the same issue. I see that you said you checked the registry settings. Where exactly is that and what did your settings read. If you don't mind me asking. I have been working on this for far less than you were and I am loosing patience lol. Thank you

Re: Imagio MMS issues

You'll never guess but I am back in the same boat again. Downloads were received for about a week, then they stopped.
This is the link I found hidden menu settings, etc.
I'm going back in...

If anyone has some insight on this, I wish they'd speak up in laymens terms.

Re: Imagio MMS issues

I shut off the wifi and (using the data connection enabled) mms come through no prob. A bit of a pain since I always use wifi, but at least now I know what to do.

Hope this helps.
