Opera Browser as Default

I'm finding several strings on making the installed Opera browser default. These threads are for different HTC devices. I tried them on my Imagio to no avail - IE seems to stay as default. Any advice:

Methods Tried:
1. Editing registry
2. Resetting Opera First Time Install option.

I don't know what changes you have made on your Imagio, but my Imagio out of the box, Opera is the default browser.

Install opera mini it is way faster and setting it to default is easy under settings.

I second on the Opera Mini browser! Easy to set as default and fast as fook!
