Adapter jack for ear-bud piece for HTC Imagio??

I've read most of the post about the various types of headsets & ear-buds. I must have at least a dozen (no exaggeration) sets of ear buds of various kinds I have collected over the years. Almost all are of the variety that are two small for the jack on the bottom of the Imagio. Some look to be quality. Is there an adapter sleeve that can be used or is that not advisable?

It sounds like you pretty much just need a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. This should do the trick, and it's cheap too.
