Re: Restore Factory ROM?
Well - if you do not have the original rom you can go to the Verizon website and jump through all the hoops and eventually you will land where this link takes you...
http://www.pcdphones.com/our-devices/products/56-xv6975 It is the official rom upgrade. you can flash this and be safe to return your phone. Make sure your phone is re-locked when you return it. may the force be with you... ...always. |

Re: Restore Factory ROM?
Well - you got to run the re-locker. I haven't done that. But there are a few people on here that have. you can search for their threads (a coulple of weeks/months old) and then pm them.
You get the re-locker the same place you got the un-locker, here... http://whitestone.htc-unlocks.com/hard-spl.php towards the bottom of the page, a sentence in blue letters... "download the Whitestone relocker by clicking here" ...download it, and just run the "WhitWSPLRelocker.exe". You probably have to "Run as Administrator" (right click the .exe and choose "Run as Administrator") of course flash the rom FIRST then relock - duh. |

Re: Restore Factory ROM?
]I have an HTC Imagio that I have had for about 15 days. I unlocked the SPL and loaded on Energy ROM. How can I remove Energy and put the factory ROM back on and then lock the SPL? I need to return the phone, I can't stand this slow hunk of junk... Thanks!
Was your phone slow before you put Energy ROM on? The reason I ask is that I have an Imagio with the updated custom rom and it runs very smoothly. I used to have a TP2 that I flashed and reflashed a number of times and over time that phone became unbearably slow. In fact I flashed a Energy rom for the TP2 and it was so slow I immediately took it off. I've been tempted to flash my Imagio but I'm afraid of messing it up like I did my TP2. Was the Energy rom the only rom you tried? Just trying to evaluate if I should try it or not. THanks |

Re: Restore Factory ROM?
I have tried different versions of the Energy ROM on my Imagio and they are all pretty fast. You may have to restart every few days if it uses up more and more memory. Wish the Imagio had double the RAM for running programs!
