Help re-locking Imagio!!

Hey everyone,

I had unlocked and flashed a new ROM to my phone, but it has had some problems (stuck buttons, and now the screen doesn't register ANY input!). So I had another one sent out, and now I'm trying to get this one back to its original form to send back in.

I'm having issues though. I have reflashed the stock ROM, but I can't seem to re-lock it. I downloaded the whitestone relocker, but I keep getting an Error 224, device not responding. The phone is connected, and synced up in mobile device center.

When I run the re-locker, I can see a window pop up on the phone asking me if I want to run RUUGetInfo.exe, but I can't click yes because the phone's screen doesn't register any input! So I think this is the problem, but I'm not sure how to continue if I can't click yes on the phone!

Does anyone have any ideas or advice?? I'd really appreciate it! Also, has anyone sent a phone back in with unlocked but with the stock ROM? Will they have a problem with this??

Thanks!!!

Re: Help re-locking Imagio!!

From what I have read no one has had any issues returning a phone that was not unlocked. As long as you have the stock ROM on there you should not have any problems. If so your case will be the first that I'm aware of.

Yes, you need to have the phone relocked when you ship it out, or other wise they will know you have had illegal software on it. There is a program called Everywan Remote, which allows you to see your screen on your phone from your desktop computer. You can use your mouse to hit the yes button. Search google for it. It is a free download. Good luck.

Re: Help re-locking Imagio!!

Ended up downloading Everywan Remote, and that helped me through the process! All locked up and on the way back. Thanks for the suggestion!

Brilliant - I love that even though we are all perfect strangers - this strange addiction to customizing our phones connects us - and everyone is looking out for everyone (most of the time).

The remote app is a wonderful suggestion. It will be a great tool for troubleshooting phones. Thanks for the suggestion, even though I didn't ask the question
