Imago on U.S.Cellular?

Is it possible to run imagio with U.S.Cellular?
If yes, than what exactly needs to be done in order to make it work.
Help will be greatly appreciated

It is supposed to be possible. I am using Verizon - so I can't tell you 100%. But if you check out this thread here (at PPCG)...

If you read the first post you will notice #9 says...

9. Carrier Customization available. (Cricket, Sprint, Telus, UsCellular).

So when you get your Imagio you will have to unlock it using the HSPL...

Then you use Adortabs custom Rom with provisioning for U.S Cellular. This is only in theory bc like I said - I use Verizon. I do use Adortab's other rom though and it is very stable and reliable. Perhaps you can ask some questions on his thread and double check with him.

Should be possible. I have been using my Imagio on Alltel (in a divested network area so no Big Red take over) for a couple months now. Most of the changes can be done right on the phone by dialing #778 and entering in 000000 for your MSL/SPC. That gets you into the phone's programming menu.

As for U.S. Cellular specific settings you're on your own there and as to whether or not they'll accept your MEID into their database I have no idea, but there are solutions to both of those issues if you poke around enough.

I dont see them accepting the meid in their system so legally it probably won't happen

i agree the only thing stopping you from doing this is them adding ur meid to there database!!
