Delete Partnership

So, I need to delete all calender and contacts from my HTC Imagio. I am running Energy's latest ROM with WM6.5. I have screwed up contacts and events in my Imagio, but my desktop is correct. In order to force desktop to replace all on my Imagio, I need to both delete partnerships in PC (which I have done), an dmy Imagio, which I have not.

Any help? Or, does anyone know an easy way to delete all calender items quickly and all contacts short of a hard reset? Don't want to loose the flash I just did 1 week ago, nor spend the several hours putting all the cabs and customizaions on as well.

Moving to HTC Imagio Section for you I'm sure you'll get more answers there.

Maybe you could use an app like sktools that could search for and allow you to clear the data you want to clear out?
Also, I would think if you altered the correct data on your pc slightly (which would have a newer timestamp than the data on your device) when you sync the data on your device should be updated.

Re: Delete Partnership

Just for your information (and correct me if I am wrong someone) -when you hard reset you are not going to "lose your flash". A hard reset will not revert back to the stock Rom. It will revert the custom Rom back to the exact same way you installed it. But you would lose any customizations you have done to the custom Rom.

As far as a fast way to delete all appointments and contacts -do you use Microsoft MyPhone?

http://myphone.microsoft.com/mkweb/S...1033&mkt=en-US

Put the cab on your phone. Install MyPhone. Run it. Sync all your stuff from your phone to MyPhone. Then on your PC go to the MyPhone site (link above). Log in with your Windows Live ID (I think -I am always logged in). Select calander, or contact, or whatever you want -then you can put a check mark that checks them all. Then you select delete. When you are done deleting everything -go back to your phone and sync your phone with MyPhone.

I made it sound very complicated. Sorry. It is not complicated.

You should be able to open the ActiveSync program and click on "menu" then click on "options" . You should see your existing partnerships. Click on the name of the partnership that you want to delete. While the name is highlighted (example is "Windows PC" click the "delete" button at the bottom of the screen. This should delete the partnership and you can then force the information that you want in your new partnership. Hoped this helped.

Re: Delete Partnership

Thanks again Maison and Thanks SmartBusiness. I did have MyPhone installed with the ROM, and sure enough, it worked. Wonder why I didn't try that before?! And I was finally able to find Activesync on my phone, and deleted that partnership. Unfortunatly, I can't test it, as I did this all from the bus ride into the office. So will see how this all worked when I get home later!

Thanks again guys, the help was great!
