Headphone Sound Issue

Hey all,

Ive installed a ton of the updates, tweaks and my phone is much better!

however, when i use my headphones now i can only get sound to come out thru the headphone jack if i go to the fm radio, turn it on, and then mute the static (believe me getting to even that was amazing!) and doing that doesnt allow me to use the phone with headphones in...

if i unplug the jack the music plays from tcpmp thru the speakers just fine - put in the jack and nothing....

very wierd...
any thoughts?

thank you!

I've had situations where I don't get sound when listening to songs on WMP. I have found that changing the volume on both the phone and in WMP has helped "reactivate" sound. Have you already fixed your problem?

Re: Headphone Sound Issue

best guess I can come up with that one of the add-ons/mods you've installed may have replaced a system module on you. If a modified .DLL wasn't based on the right version, it can break stuff pretty easily. Happens a lot with taskbars, for example (although I don't think a taskbar mod would touch anything that screws with the audio output)

I think some file explorers (maybe even the built-in one) show file attributes, might be worth looking in \Windows for files without the "M" attribute that look like they could be audio related. Complete shot in the dark, and likely a complete waste of time, but it's all I got.
