1ghz processor, right? Sweet device. I hope you're happy with it. Swing by and visit once in a while.

Re: jumped ship
I thought that Verizon did that whole open network thing where you can bring other CDMA phones to their network and they will let you use it

Re: jumped ship
My buddy just got one because I kept teasing him about his G1 for a year now. The HD2 is amazing, especially with a custom rom, but he his on edge more often than 3g and though it has happened yet with his hd2 his g1 use to drop calls at least one weekly. I'm in the tampa bay area, there is no excuse for not having full 3g coverage here. With verizon I have never lost 3g. With alltel previously I had never lost rev A. My imagio runs opera 9.7 with turbo that runs circles around the hd2's supposedly "quick" load times. Even without turbo I still load the same page seconds before the hd2 on network data.

Re: jumped ship
well if you really want to get technical ive been monitoring both the imagio and hd2 yes verizon service is much faster
but the imagio is much slower so by the time opera opens in imagio in 3G the hd2 is already on that page in H or EDGE dont get me wrong i love my imagio but the mem leak, stuck screen and battery pulls is very annoying so in essence hd2 comes out stronger in data and toggling as far as calls imagio has it i hardly ever get call drop on imagio while on tmobile ive had several allready and while some of you will say its because 2.5 doesnt belong on imagio i say the problem was there with 2.0 Last edited by maxtcee; 03-31-2010 at 09:42 PM. |
