New to flashing - Internet problems?

Hello all and thanks for reading this!

I am new to flashing and am very excited to use the Energy ROM (It is the third ROM i have used and the one I liked best, the other ROMS 3.04 etc, all worked perfectly). I successfully installed it but now my internet doesn't work. I can't connect to email, use the browser, or update weather. Opera says "Network Problem", Weather just says "No update available".

My phone and text work.

Any ideas?

Did you turn on your data connection in comm man. I lose mine after a flash alot of the time. Also, I think a hard reset first thing after a flash is recommended. Flashing back to stock first, also usually a good idea. Some say no need. YMMV.

My data connection is off. If I try to set it up automagically, it does nothing. If I want to set it up myself it asks me many questions I do not know the answer to (i.e. Username, Password, phone number to dial...)

WOO HOO FIXED. not sure what I did. Between the last post and this post all I did was mess with Data Connection settings (which I did not save) and dial #777. Now all is happy in my phone. TY

OK, your losing me. If you check comm man, your data connection is off? Then when you turn it on it doesn't stay on or what? I just turn mine on and it starts working. Maybe you need to install the verizon config cab. It should be an auto config once your phone is activated.

EDIT: Cool, sounds like it's all good again.

All that i did was dial *228 and it worked great.
