appointments on home screen

Any way to filter out all day appointments from the home screen?

I have a couple regularly reoccurring things that use up all the appointment space and the more important ones for the day never show unless I open the calendar.

This is what I am using now, but can't filter appointments, just determine how many are listed. As an alternative basically I would want appointments marked as free (not busy or out) not to show on home screen. I have a feeling there is just no way to easily filter this for that view but figured it was worth asking anyway.
