background for all pages

So, I did the search, and didn't find anything for the Imagio. Want to make the background currently on my TF3D Home Screen the same as for My Shortcuts, Messaging, My Favorites, Browser, etc. I tried Background4alltabs, and that made all the screens black, with only my upper and lower task bars visible (guess that means it worked!) Took a bit to get TF3D back to shape, and all the background 4 all pages refer to Touch Pro.

Anyone got something that is working on thier imagio?

Re: background for all pages

Thanks Jadedame. I will try that. One question, I have TCruz's mega color cab installed. Will I loose that with HDWalls? And (whoops, more than one question!) if so, is there a way to add color to the sliders / tab 'tabs'(?) as well as custom sliders and tab 'tabs' using HDWalls?

i haven't tried TCruz's mega color cab so i'm not sure what that does. HDwalls gives you the opportunity to insert your own icons for your sliders as well as the image for when you choose a tab when sliding across and it shows a big preview of the little slider image (if that's what you mean). You just have to find the right image files .png i believe. If you search up icons, there'll be plenty of that around.

Re: background for all pages

Well, I followed the instructions give at http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...4&postcount=36, and it works. Sorta.

It only saves the last I work on. For example. If I do the Landscape first and portrait last, the portrait works. And vice versa (port first land last - landscape works). The wierd thing is, after I do the first one (port), the second one (land) does not ask for output directory after pressing 'apply' and then 'close'. It just shows the view.

so, after clicking 'Apply' and then 'close', it asks for output directory. Now, should I instead press 'save' and save each one individually?

would there be a step that I might be missing in the instructions?

This process below was done with portrait first, then landscape, and then portrait again (re-did)

Manila files listed to convert are:
29cff4fe_manilla
058acf31_manilla
11d4e1ae_manilla
HDWall_taskbar.png
HDWall_softkeybar.png

When Converting - it does goes this route:
bg_sense - Converting PNG -> QTC
bglevel0_landscape_left - Converting PNG -> QTC
bglevel0_landscape_right - Converting PNG -> QTC
All done.

Cab size is 1078 kb.

I am running the stock Verizon ROM with WM6.5, TF3D 2.0

1. make sure to go into the Configuration setting and choose the correct sense/tf3d you're using..
2. before converting, make sure you check both landscape and portrait (and sliders if you created sliders).
3. after you've converted all the images, you can click create .cab and it'll create a mywallpaper.cab in the same directory that you save the converted images in.
4. install and it should work.

Re: background for all pages

So, I am just doing portrait, gonna see if that changes anything. As for right TF3D, Instructions say "If you want transparent task and menu bars then select 'WM 6.5 - TouchFLO v2.1 - No Compression - All Tabs'"

I should run only the TouchFlo V2.0? If so, which one!? Too many choices! CFC - All tabs, CFC - Home, CFC - Start, No Compression - All, No compression - Home, No compression - Start, UltraHQ - All, UltraHQ - Home, UltraHQ - Start?

Oh, and it doesn't affect the TCruz Color cab! All my stuff is still in colors!

Edit - yea, even when only do portrait, it doesn't work. So which one above should I try?

What doesn't work exactly? The cab when you install doesn't change your backgrounds?

Sorry, not home so can't run HDwalls so I'm not sure which one at this point.

Although, many of the new ROMS already have this integrated if you're interested in unlocking your HSPL. Plus many other cool features
