CAB question

Sorry if this is a noob question, I have not had a smart phone before. I will be getting the Imagio within the next few months, and have already started to prep for its arrival by downloading several CABs. I am familiar with installing them within WM5, as I currently only have an iPaq and a Voyager.

Are there any additional steps when dealing with the phone portion of the Imagio when installing these CABs? I just load them onto the phone (or WM portion) and 'open' through WM6.5 and they will update the phone portion if that is what they belong to, correct?
