Re: Stuck on the lock screen
can you give more detail on what you mean by stuck? Is the slider still showing on the screen at the bottom but perhaps maybe appears stuck to the side? Does it actually lock and you can't slide it around? Does the screen go black and sit there?
....... Please provide more detail. |

Re: Stuck on the lock screen
Sorry, I'll provide more detail. I can move the slider back and forth. When I move it to either side, the slider stays there, but the screen does not unlock. The slider is at the top of the screen. I see my usual lock screen with the clock, appointments, and slider. It appears like the device is still working. It shuts off the screen after the specified time. I just cannot get the screen to unlock.

Re: Stuck on the lock screen
Is your phone stock or are you running Sense or another custom interface on it ?

Re: Stuck on the lock screen
i have had this happen a few times, fortunately not too often, my registry is set up to unlock if i remove the stylus, have you removed your stylus when this happens to see if the device will unlock?

Re: Stuck on the lock screen
I am running the mega cab by TCruz (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=109925). But this problem happened to me before I used this cab and was fully stock.
I played around with it some more and did notice when I turn on owner information to display when device is turned on, I get into the "locked" state I mentioned. I turned off that owner information display when device is turned on and do not run into this problem. Not the end of the world, but I'd like for the owner information to appear when device is turned on. |

Re: Stuck on the lock screen
i've had what you describe happen on occassion. It appears that if you don't slide the slider ALL the way right or left, it will stop almost at the edge of the screen and sit there like it's locked. You just need to slide it all the way and given that the screen is resistive, it's sometimes a little tempermental.
