Re: Great Tweaks For 2.5 MODS PLEASE STICKY THIS!!!

Not to hijack a tread, but a question about regedit. I need to change a few keys using total commander, where do I find the keys? Is there a specific file, location, or do I write them myself to a specific location?

I need to change
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila
HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName
HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList
and
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila DisableRotation

Hang on, I think I finally found it. I changed them. will see if it worked!

Use a program like Total Commander, go to the route directory of the device and enter the \\Plugins directory. In there you'll see the registry directory. Head into there and it will make sense. Hit Thanks if this helped ya out!

I'm kinda stunned by how well the Imagio handles this along with Sense 2.5. It's nice and smooth.

Hey untitled, when you run Sense 2.5 and the CookieMonster home tab mod, what kind of memory usage are you showing after a couple hours of use?

I am running the CMHT and it doesn't seem to slow it down at all. My phone idles in the mid 60's pretty much all the time. Obviously not while I am using Opera or eReader or any other app, but it returns back to the mid 60's after I close the apps.
The only thing about about Cookie's home is it allows you to select a bunch of shortcuts. The more you choose, the more lag and memory usage you will experience.

Interesting theory. With your newest build on the 2.5 cab and virtually no shortcuts selected I'm getting much lower memory usage. I'm curious to see if it creeps up as I add more.

Yeah, I like the look of just three shortcuts on the home page, so I set it up with only three short cuts. Any other program I need, I just go to the start menu for it.

Usually in the 70s, sometimes goes into the 80s if I've used a notorious memory leaker like Opera (not Opera Mini though; it's fantastic). I do at least one soft reset a day and it runs smooth.

Re: Great Tweaks For 2.5 MODS PLEASE STICKY THIS!!!

COOKIES MOD
Update 7-Mar-2010:
Version 1.6.1 released.

Bug fixes, small additions and changes:

-[new] hide and auto hide appointments
-[new] added more appointments indicator for main view
-[fixed] call history related bugs (rounded edge, overlap)
-[fixed] date button now always shows month view in calendar tab
-[fixed] removed side scroll animation from animation level 0
-[fixed] corrected quick links scrolling in landscape

Settings changes:
The DynamicNotifications setting has been thrown out - in it's place there are:

Co0kie.ShowCallHistory
0 - always hide
1 - always show
2 - auto hide/show (default)

Co0kie.ShowAppointments
0 - always hide -- don't show any appointments or calendar text in main view
1 - always show (default)
2 - auto hide/show -- show appointments, but hide calendar text

Co0kie.AutoHideQuickLinks --- if more than 2 appointments
0 or 1 --- 0 default

Notes on some changes:

-[new] added more appointments indicator for main view
Until now there was always a small arrow below the quick links in main view. It pointed up or down but was mostly useless.
I've changed its function: From now on this arrow will only be shown if there are more appointments then can fit in main view. This will let you know that there are more appointments to be viewed by swiping down.

See first HERE for cab HERE, or get it at the link at XDA!
