Re: Black Lock Slider

Thank you! I appreciate your help.

Installed it and it works just wondering if you can move it around or if it just moves it to the bottom?

Keith Black Slider lock is awesome!

Re: Black Lock Slider

ran across this slider and a few others, add a little more flare and work well, if you installed the black slider and want to try these, uninstall the black one and then install these.

here is the site link that contains several others:

Keith - question on running the cab for this. What exactly does it do in terms of what changes is it making to the windows folder and how does it know to go back when you uninstall the cab. I'm assuming you're basically just replacing the original png/jpg/whatever files with these new ones but in replacing them, where is it recovering them from when you uninstall. (Of course I'm assuming you CAN uninstall).

I ask because I'd like to play around with different slider and maybe take a shot at creating someand want to be able to undo any "damage" I might cause.

Thanks as always.

It just copies the new image files to windows folder. The old ones come back if they are rom files when you uninstall. you can delete rom file but you can overwrite them. when the uninstall takes place it just deletes the replacements leaving the original rom files.

Interesting. I wonder what about the uninstall process restores the factory files. Seems wierd that the Grzegorz's Dusk themes really hose up the phone to the point that when you uninstall, you almost have to factory reset the phones. Strange about how his lock screen doesn't seem to replace that Lockscreen folder upon uninstall.

I think in installing his lockscreen to the memory card, it basically doesn't work as intended but it does extract his sliders so I can use those to start from. I really like that glass look of his slider.

Appreciate the lesson.

For some reason the files in Windows\lockscreen are not rom files. they must get added during customization. Make a copy of that folder on your storage card and keep it that way you can always return to stock if needed.
