Guys before you post your questions why not look in the TWEAKS section Its a STICKY for a reason 99% of your answers are in there I know its a pain to search through numerous posts but if you use the SEARCH button in that thread it will make life alot easier and clear up some of the boards

I agree....myself, maxtcee, keithdupont and many others have spent a great deal of time adding to these threads including the stickies to make the Imagio a great device. Please utilize the stickies, I am sure your answers and great applications/tweaks can be found there.

I agree, HOWEVER there is a lot more detail about what each tweak does along with pictures and the ensuing debates on each topic which make it a lot easier to make an informed decision as to wether or not you want to try a particular tweak in the individual threads.

What would be best would have been if all the tweaks had a reference to the original threads so you could research them in more detail. In some cases that was done, and it makes a huge difference.

I find myself constantly paging through the threads anyways just to get more background and find out what works, problems encountered, opinions, etc. I don't know if there's any way to really get around that, but I DO agree that people should do a much better search.

I've seen guys asking for something when what they wanted was one page back on the same thread! now that's lazy.

All that being said, If you're willing to really search through this site, there is a treasure trove of info and tweaks and updates. My phone is now 100 times better than it was when I got it, thanks to you guys!

lol you have to be kidding.
the op of the tweaks thread has done nothing more then link to another site. others have posted tweaks and .cabs without linking to the original thread or giving the ops credit for their work.

sorry but if you can't link to ops thread and give credit then don't post it at all. i see joncal brings up the same point but for a different reason. yes there is much more info in the original threads as well.

regardless the imagio forum is so slow moving any new thread is welcome!

I would like to see if it works for the Imagio than there should be a thread that says this is the tweak and it works for the Imagio go to this link. There is a lot of stuff from other phones that work on the Imagio but i do not trust putting anything on my phone until i see it in the imagio post. Maxtcee makes a great point about looking for the question, at least looking for it in the imagio thread. Keith, Slumpy, Maxtcee and a lot of others do a great job of replying to questions. It is unbelievable the stuff that i have been able to do that i didnt even no was possible before there help. So how ever you want it is cool.

The search feature of the forum isn't very user friendly, actually. I read though most everything in the Imagio forums and my phone nets me WAY more fun than it did out of the box thanks to the insight and the work a lot of folks have put into it, and/or linked to. More often than not I can remember where a thread is or what its title was and find it faster than I can use the search/advanced search to locate it. (I should figure out how to utilize that forum tool better!)

The only time cross posting REALLY bugs me is when someone posts something inane or off topic in a thread I'm REALLY interested in and subscribed to (like the SPL unlock thread) and I get an email on my phone that gets me all giddy till I discover it was someone saying something like,

"Ahem, cough cough..." ( I think this was an actual post in its entirety.)

In any case, things should be looking up soon now that Cmonex and Conflpper are workin hard on our unlocker!

I make a point to drive the Search function for everything I can, read most everything stickied before proceeding - and I RTFM without quibbling.

Repetitive threads are as much fun as sand in a thong. . .

i always search too, but honestly the search function is almost useless. it has nothing to do with being lazy for me if im asking a question that has already been answered. i appreciate all the help on here, this has been a huge blessing to me and has made my imagio bearable and worth keeping
