Re: CoPilot Live 8?

I got it installed in the card. No delay or anything. Works fine for me.

Re: CoPilot Live 8?

Copilot8 is the beezneez! A little confusing downloading and obtaining maps, but once the hard part is over this program is well worth every penny then some!!!

Re: CoPilot Live 8?

Maps too? Funny thing on my installation is the obvious registry entries point to the storage card for installation but all downloaded maps (via the application) end up in system storage.

Re: CoPilot Live 8?

I have copilot live 8. it is ok. but not great in my opinion. unless someone knows if there are some settings to change? mine was about 15 seconds behind. told me to take exits after i had passed them.

Btw- google maps and bing do the same thing for me for free. not spoken turn by turn though.

You can download the cab and just run it on your phone to make the registry changes if you aren't comfortable manually editing it! it is even easier if you visit this site using your phone at m.ppcgeeks.com so you can download the can directly to the phone instead of transferring it via usb.

Thanks again- but-

the cab you are talking about, is it actually on the post at ppcg? bc i did not see a cab file there. i am guessing you mean to follow the link from there to xdad?

if that is the case- i am still a little uncomfortable with even the cab since the instructions talk about "change your application to the indicated port, instead of the original com port etc..."

not even sure if i know how to do that. and unless someone can post detailed step by step directions, i am kinda lost.

i know these sights aren't really for guys like me that know nothing, but i hope by being on here and reading up that i can learn how to do some of this stuff.

so, thanks- again.

Re: CoPilot Live 8?

I made a custom version of this. I made a cab based off the CoPilot that was in the Leo roms. This was an updated version, and had a much nicer theme with it. better icon has well.

8.0.437 or some version like that.

When I first purchase it, it was build 346 so not sure what it still is.

But if anyone wants this let me know and I can get cab uploaded.

Yes, please Conflipper. I would love that. Only if it's not too much trouble (I know your busy and have other things to do)
