Don't know how true it is but I recall seeing some discussion somewhere that indicated the atomang d3d driver was actually a re-package of a better, more expensive video driver that hTC decided against in the stock ROM to save cost. In any event, it's the second cab I add to my phone (after .NET Compact Framework 3.5) after a hard reset . . . which I do probably a lot more than need to. I user ClearRAM works great. Not sure about memory leak, but this program gets rid of unused stuff in memory.

I use SBSH PhoneWeaver for profile management and I created an additional scheduled profile that starts at 4 a.m. and does a soft-reset when it kicks-in. A daily soft-reset seems to keep things going well enough. |

Re: Great Tweaks,Apps,SPB,Themes,ETC..
Question about automang D3D and other "graphics" tweaks: I currently am running codyppc performance boost, GfxBoost, and D3D. My question is whether these are all redundant (IE They're doing the same thing) or if each goes about it in a different manner? In any case, my phone hauls, but if there's some overlap, I may be hurting myself. I will say that the biggest performance boosts have come from having GfxBoost enabled then installing D3D. After each install, the device seemed to be much snappier.
