damn, hate I missed this. The guy at sprint told me today that I would have to pay him $404 to get a Hero.

Yes some people went stupid and messed it up[. some actually called sprint to verify . that wanst smart. The reseller could of faced suits and it threatened there license to sell products as a result so they had to pull it down. blame the snitches

Sooo...anyone know what will happen if I placed an order on this site the Dec 1st...but I don't have a legit email? haha! I got my order in, but Sprint has sent me a couple emails..here's what the most recent one says..

"Hello,

Thank you for your order!

Your order has bee received and is being processed. There may be
additional items we need to verify or more information w need to gather
as your order progresses.

You should expect to be contacted within 3 business days advising you on
the status of your order. During this time we will be completing the
following.

Day 1: Certify details provided in order

Day 2: Add existing or new account to FNF-ECP Hierarchy & confirm
device/rate-plan compatibility

Day 3: Process data in to Sprint Systems

If your account is not currently enrolled in this ECP Purchasing
discount program or is enrolled in another discount program it may take

So do you guys think they will still want employment verification? I don't know guess we'll see what happens! damn.

that is the normal procedure for that company.They are indirect Resellers so its processed through them then onto Sprint. they make there money not on phones but on connections.... Now what might happen is what they normally overlook they will check more extensively like are you an Employee for the company or not. I believe they allowed Friends or Family to slide before this whole selling of the link

the ecpurchasing.com site is legit. I belong to them and received my Hero for $29.

<rant> This is a site for people whom legitimately belong to this service so PLEASE do not mess this up everyone. If you can join, then go through their steps and do so. If not, then PLEASE do not try to find some "loophole" that gets you into this site. It makes you no better than the people selling the links on ebay. </rant>

Good luck for those of you who want to get a Hero, they are SWEET!
