My daughter's phone just started doing this today and she can no longer use the phone. My question is how do you recover the phone and bring it back to an operable state?

I don't believe there is a set number of apps... I've only noticed this when it is using up almost all of the internal memory.

Just going into applications and deleting a few things I hardly use and it went back to normal.

Start uninstalling apps until you are below the limit, and reboot.

Yea its a number, I had it happen with A2SD2.
