Handcent Sms and crashing

My wife has the Hero and has Handcent installed for the default SMS program. Shortly after the last update, it seems the program is crashing more than not. The home screen icon has a green dot on it and when you click the shortcut, it wont load. If you go into programs, it will load the program so you can use it. I have asked her to keep deleting her messages so it doesnt overload the memory but that doesnt seem to help. I uninstalled it and re installed it and tried idfferent settings but doesnt work. I just had her delete it and install Chomp. Anyone else having an issue with Handcent? It is the lastest version also.

Re: Handcent Sms and crashing

i notice the blank notification dot thing when i restart the phone, not sure what causes it since i dont text much so there isnt many to cause an overload. guess it just takes a minute to load on a fresh boot. after that its smooth sailing for me

Re: Handcent Sms and crashing

Even after a reboot it wouldnt clear the dot. The only problems I have even seen are some in the review section of the app, couple people were citing issues with the program, just curious is anyone here has.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 1.5; en-us; A6277 Build/CUPCAKE) AppleWebKit/528.5+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.2 Mobile Safari/525.20.1)

It has a problem with sense UI. Weather bug and batt life act the same way. Click the icon until sense force closes n reopens and it will b fine. If not then try restarting sense ui by closing it with a task killer.
