Pics? Grab a silicone skin. My phone still fits in my belt holster with the skin and it will protect the coating on the phone.

mine was for the touch pro... here is the link to ebay for the one i got...

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Leather-Case...item53de2d472c

it is like felt inside...and both my htc tp and htc hero both rubbed off..im thinking it is the holster? the htc tp back cover is the same material as the htc hero (that metallic coating stuff), so my holster ended up rubbing that paint off, and it started turning black....now the hero is doing the same...

how is your mogul holster? what is inside? full leather or is it felt in there? i like mine alot, it fits snug inside ..but its killing the paint off of my hero... ill try and get some pics up of my phone asap.

Re: htc hero paint rubbing off

here is a shot of my hero...as you can see the top side of the phone you see a black streak (inside the red circle)...that is paint wearing off...it would be a lot worst if i didnt notice it quicker and keep it in that pouch...... there is some more on the side of the phone where the screen is..but that is very hard for me to get a shot of due to lighting..it took me forever to get this photo to show up better....

your phone isnt bulky looking with the skin?? also the skin would fit into a pouch like mine also?? my gf has a silicon skin for hers..but it would definitely not fit into my pouch i have in the picture..also the skin is fairly grippy..so it would be a hassle to take out.

That's a small price to pay in order to keep the phone perfect. I got my holster at one of those little kiosks in a mall for 12 bux. They have a ton of different sizes, I guess I got lucky.

Re: htc hero paint rubbing off

wow. so im assuming this happens to everyone with any pouch holster? if that happens to all material for the interior of the pouches, i might have to go spend a bit more to get the seidio case with holster.... i do prefer my phone to be "naked" without the casings etc, but if its to prevent paint ruboff, i will have to get the casing from

http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductD...%2DBK&CartID=1

anyone have a discount code from here???
