I'm actually back to a smooth running modaco 1.1 + fresh .5 overlay right now so I'm gonna try a flash FRESH entire ROM right over the top of it all. screw starting fresh unless i have to!

If you flash original RUU you are just like when you got it out of the box. The recovery image will be gone. You will have to re-root and flash the recovery image.

You don't have to hard reset before flashing but some people like to.

I only hard reset sometimes as it seems to fix some weird things occasionally. Its cool how flashing is on android coming from wm.. im still not used to this flashing on top of roms thing..
