I can't flash! Can someone help me please???

So I have been trying to flash all day! I have rooted my Hero, but the flashing the rom thing is proving more dificult than it looks. I have tried the super so called easy version, and I have tried to flash from my SD card using CMD, and I just can't get it. Could someone PLEASE walk me through the IDIOT proof steps to flashing? If it is at all possible, I could call from my other phone, and you could talk me through it. TIA!

Try using the flashrec method, its the easiest way by far.

Follow those instructions and you should be set. The only diffference is step 9. I suggest downloading a more up to date rom. I use fresh .4 myself, but i'm bout to flash to .6 in a few.

well after Athletic's help, I think it has been flashed???? How can I tell? This is not like flashing the TP or a WinMo phone where you can easily see that is has been flashed, so I apologize if I sound stupid....lol So yeah, how can I tell if it has been flashed?

Look for removed apps if yu dnt have Sprint nfl and amazon and.that stuff you're flashed.

Hmmm... guess I'm not flashed.... still have all that stuff. After I flash, can I get that stuff back? the NFL live, Sprint Nav, etc...?

I don't know Lilbitz I have flashed it like 3 times now and it shows I have RA v1.2.3 and when I check my apps, I still have all the NFL Live, Sprint Nav, etc... Does that mean I didn't flash right?
