HTC music sync

How would I sync my music to my Hero? Would I use Windows Media? Does it also sync playlists or do I have to do that manually?

Re: HTC music sync

I haven't tried this yet, but it looks good, in theory. Seems like people are having mixed results, though hopefully they fix the bugs soon.

Re: HTC music sync

Thanks guys! I'll check it out tommorow and see how it works. I want the playlists to work though. I don't wanna spend a lot of time on a playlist only for it not to work on the phone. It worked great on my touch pro but my hero wont pick up the play list.

http://Doubletwist.com, this app works almost like ITunes but you can also get video from Youtube synced to your device.

Re: HTC music sync

I've tried Media Monkey this should be ok for most people. I didn't like how it changed some file names. It also trashed a couple compilations, by splitting it up into artists.

I've read good things about Song Bird but never tried it.

Double Twist looked great. But I really don't want to sign up for another service and what the heck was it downloading on the first launch ?

There also is winamp, but that program has gone downhill over the years and I can't suggest it.

I use Foobar to manage my collection from my pc and I but it lacks a sync feature.

Most of these have to many features for me, so I just have a directory and use a batch file to copy my folders over.
