Stock browser seems a little faster loading pages even with flash on. I remember it being real slow but now it is bearable

Unrooted phone, so far everything is perfect. Woke up this morning with 13% Awake time after using it for a while last night.

Re: Sprint update . . . . post your results here please.

Before update I was having that pesky problem where if I chose to leave the city label on a clock widget and chose Current City, the time would be GMT. After update, it works properly with leaving the city label on. I love the mute and speaker keys on the in-call screen and the issue with widget names/icons seems to be all fixed too. Now hurry up with 2.0!

Re: Sprint update . . . . post your results here please.

I think I'm in the right forum. This is about the new MR update from Sprint released yesterday, correct? If so, I updated through the Firmware Update option under System Updates. I also updated profile and PRL though I don't think that's neccesary. After it installed, I did a reboot and begin using. Since 7:30 AM until now, awake time only 22%. I've been texting and receiving calls this morning as well. I did notice the 2 new buttons on the phone call screen. I think one is mute and the other is volume. Nonetheless, menu and home page transitions seem quicker. So, here's what my Hero was updated to:

Firmware Version: 1.5
Baseband Version: 1.04.01.09.21
Build Number/Software Version: 1.56.651.2
Hardware Version: 0002

I look forward to any other new finds from this release...

Re: Sprint update . . . . post your results here please.

Just picked up the hero last weekend and glad that they released an update this week =D>. I am however not receiving this "weather on calendar" update everyone is talking about. I'm going to try restarting my hero and go back to the calendar, but I do not see the weather being shown on my calendar. Sad face . I wouldn't be surprised however that I'm looking in the wrong place.

Update: Sorry, it was a matter of me having to restart my Hero. Sorry about that everyone

Re: Sprint update . . . . post your results here please.

Updated last night. I'm running stock ROM. The update went smoothly. I do like the speaker and mute buttons on the call screen now. My icon names have changed back to normal as well.

I seem to be running through my battery quicker though.
I left home this am with 98% battery and now (8 hours later) I'm at about 52%. Before the update I'd usually be around 70% at this time of day (without any change in usage). My sleep time seems to be normal (22%), but the battery appears to drop quicker.
I'll have to keep an eye on it to see if it continues to drain at this rate.
