what do you mean it can come back with a reset? I fixed it following the directions posted on most sites and it was working fine. Spare parts doesn't show any awake time though.

Re: Help - 100 awake. (NOT mms/sms)

I'm finally at a PC so I can type more fluently, lol.
Basically, I had the 100% Awake time when I buoght the phone so I came across a fix. I did a hard reset, and I disabled the stock SMS/MMS. I installed a third party software and everything was good for about 1 day. The next day, randomly I check to see my awake time and it's at 63%. I decide to turn close all programs and check the screen again in abotu 5 minutes and its at 65%.

I restarted the phone and it continued to have 100% awake time.

HERES THE WEIRD PART..

When I use Spare Parts it isn't show anything as taking up all that awake time.. everything is < 1 hour.. and the dialer is < 15 minutes. But I have 24 hours of awake time!.

Re: Help - 100 awake. (NOT mms/sms)

I am having the same problem. Did a hard reset then installed the firmware update then another Hard reset and used the phone for the day perfectly fine (about 22% awake time). Went t sleep and plugged the phone in to charge. Woke up and I was at about 73% awake time. Turned my phone off then back on and now I am stuck at 100% again at all times. I have done this cycle a few times but it seems like my phone breaks when I plug it in to charge for the first time after a hard reset. Any ideas or help will be appreciated

Re: Help - 100 awake. (NOT mms/sms)

Okay lets get one thing clear: If you reset the phone and then a few moments later you go and check your awake time it will ALWAYS BE 100%. Try restarting your phone set it down and going outside for 20 minutes then checking it.

If your awake time was at 65% that tells me that either you have been messing with your phone a lot or have some application that keeps the phone awake. Also your awake time should fluctuate through out the day, you use the phone your awake time will crawl up, don't use your phone your awake time will crawl down.

Also the difference between 63% and 65% is so arbitrary. For example if you reset your phone the up time counter will reset to zero - hypothetically 100 minutes later if you have not touched your phone your uptime should be close to 100%. However if you have been playing with your phone the difference between 63 and 65 percent is only 2 minutes.

Thirdly there is a lot of programs that prevent your phone from going to sleep, compass is one example. So it might be a good idea to let people know what apps you are running. Also consider task killers - if you have some task killer set to constantly kill tasks wouldn't it have to keep the phone awake to do so?

Would you happen to have something like Listen or BeyondPod set to download podcasts when plugged in?

Nope it has to be something i have installed but I don't know. I have installed the following:
Advanced Task Killer
Apps Installer
Astro
Bluetooth File Transfer
CallLocation
Facebook
FartDroid
Flashlight
GoogleVoice
Last.fm
Flixster Movies
