Help - 100 awake. (NOT mms/sms)

Sikclown, do you have twitter set up? I used Twidroid and have no idea if peep is causing a problem, but I know for some people it did. Are you against trying Fresh rom? It seems to be doing people (including me) a whole lotta good haha.

I've been having the 100% awake situation from the get-go. Last week I reflashed the phone with the stock RUU, did the OTA update, and then did nothing else. I hand entered a couple contacts (we suspected the data sync as a possible culprit) and then stopped using the phone. Basically I'd make phone calls or text but that was it. The phone made it to 19:30 uptime and then.. boom 100%.

There's no rhyme or reason for this IMO. I tried so many different ways of loading things on the phone. A time before I tried setting everything up normally but using Handcent for SMS just in case it was still an SMS issue, no dice.

Today I returned the Hero and got a new one. This one has a much better button pad but within 2 hours of having it, it went to 100% again.

I went into Security and did a reset from there. This is basically a delete of all user settings. After it came back up, I deleted all widgets except the clock/weather and the big calendar. I made a few cosmetic changes to settings but this phone has nothing installed on it. I sync with Google for mail/calendar/contacts and I have facebook integration logged into. Basically, I'm using the phone as they intended it with the programs it came with.

I'm guessing I won't make it 24 hours until it pegs 100% again. This blows.
