BEST BUY wrote that the htc hero is able to be activated with a 30$ data add on

I went to best buy the other day and the piece of paper that shows all the info for the hero said it is allowed to be activated on a data add on.
For those of you who don't need the everything data plan.

The data add-on on top of the phone plan that you decide to get. I dont get what this post is about. Maybe I dont get what your trying to say here. They have a rate plan of 200 minutes for 29.99 but does not include data. So you add the data plan at $30. But you might as well get the everything data plan

Its either a Typo on BB side that sprint wont honor or sprint has a 30.00 data Add 0n plan which means it will be additional to your account .that sounds tricky to me.Has any one applied at that location ?

as far as i was told the add on for the pre, hero moment or any phone like this does not exist any more. the add ons are for win moble and black berry. you have to get the everything plan for individ or the 129 fam share. coming from cs at sprint. but if you do the math its not worth just adding, the everything plans have it all. just wish the droid would be yellow and black instead of big red. i hate red!

The $30 aadd on is true. I called retentions on Friday to discuss what can be done w/ my F&F 1250 to get a hero. She said I could add a $30 data plan and then i'd be able to get it. I said no. I already have unlimited data and $30 seems rather steep.

I recently found this on a saturday and wanted to stop by to see the hero because that was the phone I wanted to get but couldn't since I would need to switch the whole family to the everything data share plan which would be a waste, so I was excited to see that you could add a add-on for 30$ but I wanted to make sure that the add-on was true and not a lie/typo.

Thanks for posting those pictures. I just upgraded from a TP to a Hero and they forced me to switch from the plan I was on (family text plan 1500 minutes w/ 4 phones, lines 3-4 9.99 extra a month for 99.99 w/ data plan added on my TP for $15.00 a month which equaled 135.00), to the everything data plan which is 129.99 with phones 3-4 at $19.99 each which equals $170.00. Sure I get unlimited data and I can call any mobile network for free now, but we never went over our minutes before and I was the only one using the data. So I essentially have to pay $35.00 more a month because I have an Android phone instead of a WM phone.

I am going to use these pictures to see if I can get some kind of long term credit or something applied to my service.

Yeah I had the same problem. If you manage to get credit applied or some sort of discount applied please tell.
