I doubt I will ever go back to WM. My prediction is WM 7 will be very flashy and like most MS products with all the glitz it will be a resource hog. 1ghz processor would be great if the OS doesn't suck it dry. Microsoft is pretty much going to have to part the red sea to catch up with Android, WebOS, the fruit phone.

Not sure about the droid.. But on sprint the grass is pretty damn green with fragrant buds.

I agree, I'm liking sprint's recent phone selections. BTW, grass will always look greener on the other side but keep in mind from otherside people are peeping over here as well.

HTC Dragon is the Android version of the HTC Leo, Same screen size, same CPU but with Android 2.0 and perhaps an updated version of senseUI... If Sprint gets this, it might be the Hero's replacement when it hits EOL.... thats the only device in my foreseeable future i see me trading my hero for...

+1 here, 7 or better webOS but the pixi is built well but it is definitely a step down from Pre not a step up

Dragon sounds amazing. I'm not a fan of WebOS as it stands but I would love to see it come out over Windows Mobile. Go under dog go!

'grass is greener' syndrome bothered me for a while. at first i attempted to alleviate the symptoms by contracting 'head in sand' syndrome (doing my best to not read about other phones). that only worked for a few months. now, i've just come to the realization that there is nothing out there that is going to be perfect for me, and there is always going to be something better on the horizon. you may as well just enjoy what you have now while you have it. there is no sense pulling out your hair trying to figure out which phone is best when they will all be outdated in a year anyway.

Re: How Do I Get Rid Of The "Grass Is Greener" Syndrome???

The only thing that WOW's me on the TP2 is the screen. Otherwise I really dont care to have the phone. I love the Hero OS. I wish it was a 3.7" screen. Keyboard would be nice but otherwise there is no way you can talk me into WM again.

The support in this community far exceeds what M$ has done. 1 year after we saw WM 6.5 on here it is just starting to show up on phones. Maybe it is just I am one that expects more from a phone then the normal user. At this point I see WM 7 as catch up. They are 3 years behind Apple and 1.5 years on Google. Pretty hard to catch up when you dont have the imagination that these two companies have.

All this said it is just my thoughts.

Re: How Do I Get Rid Of The "Grass Is Greener" Syndrome???

I had the Touch Pro 2 since the day it came out, completely unlocked, SIM, SPL, then, one day, I just wanted something new, I've had just about every sprint WM Pro Device (Apache, Treo 700WX, Mogul, Touch, Diamond, Touch Pro, Touch Pro 2) and I just got really tired of waiting for WM to improve. Graphically, 6.5 didn't add much and 6.5.1 is still very beta.

I went out and got myself a Samsung Moment thinking that the 800MHz + keyboard > Hero. Was I wrong, the moment went back the next day to be replaced by the hero, so far I'm loving this thing, it is MUCH smoother than WM and almost as easily customizable, I say almost because I'm more used to WM.

Cliffs: Hero > Touch Pro 2
