Emulators on the Hero :(

One advantage the Moment may have on the Hero is emulators. The virtual keypad just sucks! It's no deal breaker but I really wish I could play these games and that hard keyboard would really come in handy. Not only does the virtual direction pad suck but the trackball sticks in a direction so you can't use it and theres not enough buttons for anything other than nes, gb and master system most other gmes woth more than 2 buttons are challenging. Rpg are really the only things that work well since you dont really need precision or timing.

Anyone find any work arounds?

Some games that only use right & left I've been ising the volume buttons lol

Having NES, SNES, Master System, Genesis, Gameboy, and Game Gear in my pocket is nice. Too bad I cant play them

I mean you can get a little fun outta some games. Zelda and Toe Jam & Earl were cool for me so far because they dont need too much precision. Duck Hunt is probably cool. But Mario and stuff like that you can forget it.

I tried Mario Kart, Time Soldiers and Action Fighter ( last 2 are Sega Master System games) and it was disappointing. Simple games but just not enough control.

It sucks to because emulators would make the Hero that much sweeter!

Interesting! I don't want to spend more money or have to carry another device but I must say I'm intrigued. I see they have it at Best Buy so I may grab one today after work and try it out. It wouldn't hurt to keep it my bookbag I guess. Idk about other times on a random day I don't think I'd want in my pocket all day.

Looked it up, no app for Android yet? For the Zeemote that is.

Re: Emulators on the Hero :(

I noticed there didn't seem to be compatibility with the Hero but I think I may just try them out anyway. Which one do you guys think would be more likely to be compatible? (blackberry, symbian, etc )

Edit: leaving Best Buy now no Zeemote in store

Re: Emulators on the Hero :(

I figure the zeemote is the same but its the software or drivers that go on the phone that matter. Ive seen them on ebay, I gotta good feeling it will work after seeing the video but I want to b sure before I buy one.

Edit: heres the video
