is there a way to merge hero contact pics with online gmail

i have my contacts merged with facebook and all the pics show up on my sprint hero but when i use my gmail online there are no pics. so if i ever wipe out my hero i do have to merge my pics one by one again for each contact?

All the pics that come from facebook will come back after you wipe your phone. If you want to make them permanent download the pics and add them through Gmail on the computer. Then, whether or not your connected to facebook they'll still come through.
