cant send txt!
im getting no recipentant..
every time i send a txt my 3rd reboot this morning

Make sure ur WiFi is not on and connected to something, there is a known issue that while connected to WiFi, the hero sometimes tries to send sms and mms through the WiFi connection which is not possible. It will also prevent u from receiving them.

no. it works for about 2 hours after a battery pull... ?
idk wtf it is.. im trying to root and go to madocos rom. but i cant cd to the desktop in cmd prompt.. not to good with CMD

Move it to c:/androidsdk it will b much easier!! Put recovery and the asroot file in androidsdk/tools will save you sone hassle. too. Look at the tips thread in my Sig n follow the 1st post then the second.

yeah im gonna use the workaround after i root it. im only getting like 6 hours battery life :/ thats the only reason im missing my blackberry tour.. i got 10-12 hours

6 hrs?! I'm 15 w heavy use on an off brand battery! Don't use stock messaging app, maybe that's whats killing ur batt life. Use handcent until devs get sprints fix and incorporte it. I am not kidding I have been on internet in bad coverage for 8 hrs n I have 42% left!

cd to the directory you extracted the sdk into. Then cd into the tools directory.
thats from the XDA how to.. but what do i type in to get to the place you told me to put them? i just copied the folder to the c drive. i didnt make an androidsdk folder..
