Re: MoDaCo Custom Hero ROM for the CDMA Hero
Is anyone else having a problem with battery drain on this rom. I had it plugged in to my computer with the usb and my battery was still draining. A message popped up and said something like plug in to wall charger, the battery is consuming more power than usb something. I dont remember what exactly it said but any ideas, i didnt get this before.

Yea, whatever you download, put it in the ROOT of the SD Card. Then power down and power up holding end and volume down. Press home to get into recovery, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE DONE A BACKUP (not yelling but if I didn't I would be screwed haha!!), then press flash from sd, don't pick the one called update.zip unless you renamed the rom to update.zip.

If u are plugged in it will come up as a disk. Pull down notifications on phone and choose option to mount as disk drive. It will pop up a menu so choose mount. |

when you plug it in, slide down your notification curtain and there should be an option of "USB connected". tap it and select "mount" when prompted. When you need to disconnect it, just slide it down again, tap USB and select Unmount.

Re: MoDaCo Custom Hero ROM for the CDMA Hero
I got a question on a2sd..
I booted to a ubuntu disk and used gparted (I think thats the name) to format the second partition on my card to EXT3.. everything seems to work and when I check that part of the sd card with the ls command in adb shell it does show apps but not all of them.. Is it best to do a hard reset and then reinstall everything after setting up a EXT3 partition? or is there just some things that need to be on the phones storage to work properly? Thanks in advance!

Re: MoDaCo Custom Hero ROM for the CDMA Hero
Mine required an Ext2 partition, not Ext3. I don't know why some would show up and not others, but I didn't have to do a hard reset, so I hope you don't!
