Very Sluggish

My phone is very sluggish. After I make a call it takes about 5-8 secs to log my last call and let me make another call. Is anyone having this same issue? Any suggestions for solutions?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: Very Sluggish

As much as I loved the HTC Hero, I just picked up a Blackberry Tour. I will be back when it actually gets a few upgrades. Until then, I will be lurking around :P

Re: Very Sluggish

Mine is pretty sluggish when I am typing in landscape. Sometimes it thinks that I have the key held down when i'm not even touching the screen and it will put in the number or secondary character instead of the letter, Its pretty annoying and I mainly type with it in portrait now for that reason. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Very Sluggish

What stuff do you have on your home screens? If you have a lot of widgets that get updates, such as stocks, twitter, etc, that will burn up some memory. I only have the clock with weather, stocks, and program icons on my screens.

Also, how do you "exit" programs? Do you just hit the home key, or do you use the back arrow key, until you are back at your home screen? Hitting home leaves programs running in the background, while using the back button, in most cases, will close the program you were using.

I have very little lag on my device using the above methods.

I get that on occasion too its pretty annoying. I turned off spell check and it seems to have sped up a LITTLE. Can't wait for the fixes to roll out
