GSM hero rooted, hopefully cdma soon

Sorry for getting people up in arms, didnt mean to cause bad ju-ju

Couldnt find anything with search about this but it seems xda rooted the hero for tethering. Dont know if this helps, but if it does someone please make a hack so i can get rid of my pro and tether with the hero.

The GSM version is. We have the CDMA version and it's totally different and not rooted.

Why start a thread with misleading title without making sure what you are saying? Now you will have 100s of excited user click on it only to be disappointed in the end.

don't worry. it's not going to cause that big of deal. there's only been ~114 views anyway. besides, if it was really rooted we would have heard about through other channels.

I'm one of those excited people... still not sure what rooting is exactly but I know its good lol. It basically unlocks your phone for hacking, flashing, etc right?

The name needs to be changed, this is very misleading and i got my hopes up for nothing... :'( this is like the third time its happened on this board...
