Install Music with Linux?

I'm looking to load music onto the Android from my home system which is Linux (Fedora 11). Right now I found that Banshee seems to do the trick but was wondering if there are any other applications out there that may work better.

Also are there any other frontends for the Android other than the stock music player that offer some more functionality?

After using a windows mobile device on and off for several months, this phone is a refreshing change... so far it seems to just work.
