Again, this is all my opinion. I've been using WinMo forever and Android is leaps and bounds ahead of it and it is still in it's infancy.
+1!!!!!!!!!!!! Im so glad i went with the Hero after practically swearing by WinMo. Now i see how clueless i was....

Re: Trying to love my Hero!

I have to say that I've never had many complaints with WM like some do.. But so far the Hero has absolutely wow'd me..lol its been a long time since I got that feeling from a phone without flashing it to a custom rom. From what I understand being new to Android is that when they get rooted there will be more fun to be had, but it sure is keeping me busy now.. I havent put the dam thing down all day and it still has about a third of the battery left !

Hopefully I get some sleep tonight..

Re: Trying to love my Hero!

There are a lot of subtle features that you just don't get on WM. Like if you are listening to music and you pull out the headphones, it auto-magically pauses your music, and the Volume buttons work while playing and screen off!!!! Brilliant!

Oh yeah, it's the little things like that that give Android the edge over WM. It seems like WM has been standing still for the past 5 years. The only thing saving it is manufacturers like HTC adding their own UI on top of it.

I agree with the user above, WinMo 7 better be pretty kick butt AND come out in a damn hurry or they are going to be left in the dust.
