Re: Is there any way to keep the screen from going to sleep?

I'm having the same problem. I can't keep the brightness up. Its been one day, and I'm already thinking about sending this back for a TP2. At least I know what the problems will be.

Bought my first app. Its called Power Manager. It lets you set up power profiles and so far works fine on the Hero

It should be. I don't use it since I don't want to touch buttons with my face, but it's an idea.

Would turning off "Auto brightness" help? Try that out

Re: Is there any way to keep the screen from going to sleep?

There is an AP in the market called quick settings. It has an option for screen time out. When you want the phone to stay on without dimming, hit the button in the app. When you're done, same thing.

1.5 had that setting and 2.1 doesn't. Yet another let down instead of an upgrade.
