Voicemail questions.

I finally realized that voicemail on the hero is not the same as on ym old sprint/winmo phones. thought voicemail was handled completely by sprint so why would it be any different?

also, I keep getting several texts when I get a voicemail. they say to call some number (not my number) to listen, then a bunch of random characters and stuff. I use handcent and they are coming through that sms app, but not sure if its related to that or not.

thanks for any advice.

No, since it downloads the vm's it texts a notice to you. Blacklist the number with Handcent and no more problems!

Re: Voicemail questions.

Well I finally figured it out... had no idea Hero came with visual voicemail. Kept pressing 1 to get to voicemail, never actually used the voicemail icon until I read about it in that other post today. will blacklist the number to get rid of the texts. that should be an option somewhere anyways...

Cool. Yes it should. Glad to see someone from Orlando haha. I used to live there and was just there last week for fall break. It sucks being back in KY in the 40 degree weather haha.
